Blue Iguana Inn - Ojai

a living room, a kitchenette area, and a coffeemaker in the room, marvellous location.

We have spent 1 day in deluxe room with fireplace as well as beautiful dining table, everything was spotless. The location was marvellous and beautiful, very close to the Blue Iguana, the bike path and the creek, and the private parking was an excellent bonus. And it was just a short walk away from Tulio, ate there couple of times.

We were not shown the amenities, how to access them nor told about the adjacent noisy highway. While looking for the jacuzzi which was about ten feet from our door, I tripped in the dark over furniture around the pool without lighting. I was, of course, frightened over this severe fall which we thought could have been a break, and greeted with such casualness when I asked for ice for the injuries. I could not understand her lack of concern. After icing my leg for an hour we went to the jacuzzi for relaxation benefits. In the jacuzzi, we stepped on our insteps across a filter that was sharply broken for about eight inches. Went back to the room to nurse my injuries with ice, again. When I approached the day clerk in the morning, she showed appropriate concern immediately and called maintenance personnel.

The inn embodies the flavor of Ojai. The rooms are wonderfully decorated, and the bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. It's just a lovely place, from top to bottom.

I loved the spacious two-room suite with rustic furniture and outside seating, made for a perfect retreat after a day spent exploring the beautiful Ojai Valley and nearby Camp Comfort Park, providing lovely walking paths and scenic views to enjoy.

The inn is charming and the staff is very friendly especially Tara. She was a great source of information and made it a pleasant stay.

Too close to the road (street noise). Air conditioning not working properly. No water pressure. Bed was a bit soft.

Blue Iguana felt like a small boutique hotel. The design was lovely and it was quiet. The rooms were extremely clean and we loved the tile floors. The grounds were also lovely and relaxing.

I appreciated the artistic decor throughout Blue Iguana Inn, which perfectly matched the serene vibe of Ojai. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with good garden areas that were easily accessible and enjoyable to stroll through for seniors like myself.

More seating in communal areas would be helpful.

This is a very comfy, yet elegant establishment. Highest quality furnishings, great ambience and amenities. We felt like we were in our own country estate, yet close to amazing restaurants, cafes and boutiques. Great location with Santa Barbara, Solvang and Ventura nearby. Only 20 minutes to beach.
